The Bracknell Cobras Central Venue League is a development league that runs on a Friday night at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire. The Bracknell Cobras created the CVL to provide players of all abilities to play in a local league that is at a competitive level but allows players to develop their own individual flare. The new 2018/19 League will commence in late September, if you would like your team to join please make sure you register the teams you are entering by the 31st August 2018.



Most Fridays during the basketball season you will find the main hall at Wellington full of teams ranging from under 12s to under 16s-boys & girls. There are around 15 teams in the league playing in three age groups; under 12s, under 14s & under 16s. The teams are not just from the Bracknell area, we also have teams from neighbouring counties competing too.



The CVL is designed as a safe environment where players can develop and hone their skills and to provide young people with their first taste of competitive basketball in a safe & supportive community. 



However the CVL is not just about developing players we also have junior referees working alongside those with more experience & each team should be able to provide their own table official so we develop all sides of the basketball spectrum.
